Forget about the unhappy things. Im going back to NS life after sunday, but I'm glad to spend my block leave with my love, friends and family.

Went flew kite last saturday..however I couldn't get the kite flying and decided to give up when the stick dropped out. Nonetheless, we had great fun!
Though time was limited, but at least I'm sure we spent some quality time together.

And finally i get to meet some of my long lost friends.

Okay.I got Sup Supvr.Basically it means storeman.The vocation which I prayed hard not to get it, I got it. :(

POC lo. And my tekong life ends.Remembering how tough the 1st 2 weeks was, that I get emo by looking at the stars and planes across the moon-lited sky. Range,grenade,IPPT,fieldcamp,armoury maintainence,area cleaning-routines that never seem to end.Glad to survive without visiting the MO once.A short phrase of NS life has just ended,and the next one is of uncertainty.I just prayed hard I get a good vocation.Nonetheless,I looked back,BMT was fun with my buddies who share the woes together,but there are some who are equally fucked up.It was tough,but at least I think it has trained my endurance level.LOL.The next is ORD,which is like long long way.And now,i think i will miss the starry night which cant be seen in mainlight,and the roaring engine of the planes,and imaging myself in the plane going for a getaway!

From being 100 plus days to only 1 day plus for me as a civilian. From the day of my graduation, its been a long 8 months plus. Such a long wait then, now it seems, its been faster than ever.

So many different jobs I have taken up, so many different places I have been, and so many different people I have met. Its been a insightful journey for me. A year ago, at this period, I was an intern somewhere. I was mistreated; left without pride and bleeding with humilation. Several times, I wanted to give up. Many felt incensed for me, many heard my complaints. I lasted to the end. Grades were unjustifiable to the efforts I put in. But I was glad to complete it and had not let my LO down.

Now, I have a chance to start another new journey of mine. Brand new, totally refreshing. In the short lifespan of ours, we have already experienced schooling, at different levels, from primary to tiertiary. Its all about education. 13 years. Its been gone in a flash.

Being the last one in, there are mixed feelings. In addition with the inability to hold a higher rank, I do feel inferior. Nonetheless, I will do my best.

No work means no blogging!HAHA! Finally ended my time at YOG last wednesday.

My beloved girl's birthday yesterday. Happieee 20th! Plans were screwed, but most importantly was the happy ending!

She has been my personal alarm clock for work since we were together. Every morning I will pick up the phone, and upon hearing her voice, pull myself out of bed. Throughout my work at YOG, she will accompany me for lunches too.Thanks dear for the wake up calls and lunches! But after 23 Oct, I will have to wake up on my own! ;)

F1 on friday! And its free! Received an email regarding free tix while working, and immediately, I went to the other side of my office to get the tickets! AHAH! KIO TIO siaaaa! So I went with lim pui pui to catch the F1 practice session. A nice event on a lazy friday evening. CUI!I did not bring camera and it was down to the lousy camera phones of ours to take some breathtaking shots,which wasn't so spectacular.Couldn't stand the loud engines so we went to get the ear plugs...It was quite bored because all the cars went the same way, and accelerated at the same speed,and only withness 1 crash,so it wasn't that exciting.I couldn't stand the straight road in front of padang as it wasn't exciting enough, and we went to a curvy spot, hoping to withness some crash, but there were none, but at least we could see the cars more clearly as they had to slow down for the turn. Hopefully,Alonso will join Ferrari next season. And Liverpool won 6-1!! Whee... 3 more working days and I shall relax till my NS! :D

When Maslow created the hierarchy of needs, what was his intention? Demostrating the 5 motivations for humans, for which each individual will ascend the levels when they have accomplished the basic?

"Once these are met, seeking to satisfy growth needs drives personal growth. The higher needs in this hierarchy only come into focus when the lower needs in the pyramid are met. Once an individual has moved upwards to the next level, needs in the lower level will no longer be prioritized. If a lower set of needs is no longer being met, the individual will temporarily re-prioritize those needs by focusing attention on the unfulfilled needs, but will not permanently regress to the lower level."Quoted from Wiki.

Can I beg to differ? Most I feel, have vision the self-actualisation needs as the goal. It should be a venn diagram,with 4 circles comprising of Esteem, Love/Belonging, Safety and Physiological, with Self-actualisation as the heading. I believed, not many, in this decade that will ignorantly want to achieve the basic needs, before accelerating for the self actualisation. Each individual, under different circumstances, will try to achieve self actualisation in their own unprecedented way, by hook or by crude.

Thus, many have unknowingly neglected the basic needs such as safety and love/belonging to reach the final stage. Hence, missing out experiences such as twinge, joy and satisfaction in attaining it. Lucky or not, you decide. Tasting the twinge is bitter, but you learned something. Having the joy is exhilarating and motivates you even more. Satisfaction, the utimate goal for all.

Therefore, I think the hierarchy shouldn't be a pyramid, for all the needs are to be established as self-actualisation, and the extend how each need is determined depends on the individual's goals and destiny.

Life is simple, if you know how to see it. Aren't all of us learning each day? One day, one day we will know life is simple, because human is just but one subtance on earth, like any other, it is not everlasting and vulnerable.

Learn to live happily, for God created us for it.All of us.

Ok,time for some overdue reflections.

Less than 3 months to NS.I can tell you its a freaking torturing wait because I just wanna get in and get out asap,but damn Im getting in the last of the last.

My great job at MOM is about to end pretty soon,next fri.Then,I will be emo,lonely and penniless for 2 months plus.I hope my savings can last me.

BUT I have thought through it,and will go for my Lasik after my work end.A tough decision,but since I have some time,and Im too lazy to work anymore,doing it now is perhaps a good escape from finding a new job.Fear is also a contributing factor,though Lasik is considered a minute operation.Then I can also train for NS!HAHAH!And I wish to go for another short getaway soooooooooon,anyoneeeee?????

Our first month.I shan't disclose what I made.A simple affair!

4th July
The day my age increased from 1 to 2.Spent my morning slacking at home,and then went to YT's home,then to ulu pandan Labrador Park which wasn't that ulu since.Breathtaking view of the sea,with the golden sun rays greeting us,coupled with SAF choppers hovering over us with the Singapore flags and a lovely walk through the serenity and greens of the place.

Spent the night at Dan's chalet,who shared the same birthday as me.Final chill out with my colleagues who are mostly returning to school.

5th July
A torrid day at the zoo.A forcefully signed contract and some egoistic-dealer stuff to cope for a shy and egoistic guy like me.Raining cats and dogs,and the best thing for that day was,a heartwarming steamboat,one which I was craving since the day I had the last one.

6th July
A dinner with the best primary school pals at Admiral Grill in ulu Sembawang.Great chill out place with pool and KTV.

10th July
The day Siao Zhar Bo left us for Perth and the day I had one less person to make fun of.

I don't know what it means but I don't care and don't wish to explain,because I'm tired from all the accusations of every little small things,and any other big matters.Fuck off all,if you think I'm bad.

Ok i need to update i guess. Been too lazy and tired.But since i slept for 15 hours today and still feeling tired,i will do a quick update.

life's alright,basically working and adjusting to carless days,trying to break bejeweled high scores,slacking away and psing friends. =X

24th April 2006. I started out my tertiary education in TP as a freshie.

19th May 2009. 3 years down the road, I completed my Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management. An amazing journey, one of hard work and fun, one which encompasses friendships and hardships.

I am proud to graduate from here. The amazing journey, with the amazing people I've known. The project assignments each semester, the endless deadlines to meet, and lack of sleeps sumed it all up. My toughest time of all happen during my internship, one of sweat and pain. Sweating physically and emotionally painful, there were several moments of giving it all up. But for the perserverance and determination, I pulled it through. A very good experience, one which may have mould me into being a better man. The only regretion- No CCAs and Not studying hard enough to get into local Uni.

Friends, thanks for the memories and fun. The path will be different for everyone from now on, but I'm sure the memory will last, and the friendship will continue...

Thank you for those who came to my grad. I appreciate it.

If anyone doubted my intentions of any kind, then do read whatever posts I have written here, because here is where I will best articulate my most truthful thoughts and pardon me if any of my actions suggest otherwise.

Socialising is something which I enjoyed, however, it is also something which has caused me harms. And I do wonder, what will I be if I had chose to be an introvert, and what friends will I make if I stop socialising.

Socialising has its limits, however, as we grew older, I realised socialising isn't the first on my agenda anymore. In the past, socialising may be seen as the priority for me. Its just so hard to mingle with people of different ideas and thoughts. Rejection for anybody is hard to swallow, but having the courage to reject others should not be compromised.

I have failed in many parts of my life and apologised if I have offended any. But a man can't please everybody...

I don't want a burden, and I don't wish to be a burden. Strike me off, if you think I'm not worth it.

Ask yourself, imagine that today is your last day. Many wouldn't. Many don't give a damn. Then, they have just thrown the 2nd chance away. Those that do, are friendships that will last a century. Those, are the people that seize any opportunity, develop it and nurture it. Sadly, it don't happen nowadays.

A sidenote: Its such a happening life for me ever since I become a legal Ah Long. My money is all spend on FOOD!! Seriously,Im very very broke because I have been eating and eating. 3 groups of friends will be able to keep your life fully occupied. Especially those that are driving. I'm satifised to have make great friends throughout my life. Finding them is through luck but maintaining them is a life-long commmitment. Putting effort in maintaining it will not make you a bad person, it will however tire you out. Entertaining everybody is not a chore, it is a pleasure. But be pleased you have somebody to entertain, rather than have no one to do so..

As I sipped through the sweet caramel taste of Bailey's, enjoying the rich milky alcoholic drink, with sentimental songs running through my earphones, I read my private blog. Tears brought me back to Earth, making me feel juvenile.

All of them, of sentimental value to me, of frankness and of a special moment in my heart. I have decided its long to make it public, because everything was a past. Ok.Time to blog about my trip to Phuket.Im really really really tanned,or rather black now.

24/3/09 Day 1.

A tiring air ride by Tiger Air to Phuket with the upright seating position.Landed and it was raining cats and dogs,dampened all our mood.Got into our vehicle,and another car ride for 2 hours due to massive jam!

Shopped around after dinner and realised clubs and pubs are everywhere,with bartops and poles! 0.0

Went Phi Phi island.Seated at the top deck and all I did were suntanning.Snorkelled too,but it was as good as I did few years back.

26/3/09 Day 3
Slacked for half of the morning.Went for ATV in the afternoon..hmm.I thought it will be much more adventurous than this.Hahaha.But still alright,at least I get to do something for the first time.Went for message and it was poof,shiok.

Karon beach in the morning,suntaned and wave crashing,before rushing back to check out.

Its been long since I last travelled. A well deserved break for me in the touristy isle of Thailand, with Mr Sun shinning down on me, getting a bronze tanned line, waves crashing against the powdery sand and sipping a lime margarita. Perfect!

As I said, I won't give up my social life just because I'm working. I believe in work and play.

But sometimes, weariness just keep dwelling upon you, and you wish that you can have endless strength upon you.

Maybe, draining myself will prevent any unnecessary thoughts from occuring...

Challenging your own limits is tough, however I believe there's is the only way in growing up.

Good gracious.$50 was hard earned,at least for today.

The virgin experience of surviving a horrendous 15 minutes thunderstorm at Science Centre carpark.

Preparing to tear down after the event,all of us went into a small tentage to avoid the rain. Lightning strikes, flash after flash. We thought it was just a routine thunderstorm. The plastic sheets which were to prevent rain from entering into the tent were drawn. They wavered, while few of us went to hold the sheets to prevent the rain from entering. Then, the wind got stronger and rain was entering our tent, all of us went to help hold the sheets. Then, everything went chaotic. The sheets opened, rain was all around. The tentage swayed violently, we held our spots. Then, the whole tentage flew and collapsed. Literally. Shocked, but the speakers and consoles and everything was unsheltered,the strong wind and heavy rain tainted our vision. We just grabbed the consoles and speakers and try to salvage all we could,but Mother Nature was just to strong. However, we did managed to bring them into the shelter after struggling. Forget about us drenching, after the rain was lighted, we went out, and the whole field where the event was held, was filled with broken branches, thick and rough trunks strewn around like corpses in a warzone.I'm not exaggerating, but huge trees really got uprooted. Many of them, and a small forest at the end of the field was destroyed. The trees at the golf course opposite the science centre were uprooted too and the carpet grass were being destroyed too. It is like stepping into a movie scene.

I didn't took any photos cause my phone was all wet, and I see no point in taking such a lousy landscape. But I am thankful none was injured, especially for a family who were in a huge tent which has collapsed. It was just a minute typhoon comparing with other countries, however the fear of being helpess when the whole tentage just flew off is already terrifying. I'm thankful to be alive.

The curious case of Liverpool FC.

Firstly,congrats for beating our rival to the ground, leaving them without any air to breath.It was joyful for me to see Liverpool sunk goals in their net,but it must be lousy if you are a Man Utd fan. Doing a double in a season against united is the closest feeling to winning the EPL title lah.So,let us rejoice kay man u fans,cause the title is still yours la.

If I were Liverpool chairman,I will retain RB.I will let him manage those big fixtures,while i will hire any tom,dick,harry to manage the small games.Then,Liverpool will start playing consistently.

I must admit it is demoralising being a Liverpool supporter.The usual problems,the cash flows,the manager uncertainty and the poor performances.But Rome wasn't built in a day,hence I foresee a great future for Liverpool,if they can buck up the defence and midfield on the right,a left footed defender and a classy striker like Vila.

I'm glad that I am the sole liverpool supporter among my friends.

I started a super-boring-wuliao-licious job today.Totally brainless,like I din even use my brain at all, except during lunch time on deciding what to eat. I think Im gonna hand in my resignation notice soon.

Because of the super boring job, I resorted to speeding home again on CTE which will also boost my confidence, however I tried to beat a lady who beated me. Damn, she's fast. I thought female driver suck, but not this one.Sorry lads.

Did I mention she's driving a Copper, and mine's a Fit.Like a twin 2.0 vs 1.3 engine. I loses hands down.
